For the last two weeks, I have had a different project to work on almost every day. I have been continuing my long-term history research project, but I have also had another long term project introduced. My supervisor is having me work on a communications plan for a client almost completely on my own. This week, I have been home with COVID, so a lot of my work-from-home has been taking a sample communications plan, and personalizing it to the client.
Another responsibility that I have had since I have started at Cookson is joining various client meetings and taking notes. While this seems like a small task, it has given me the opportunity to meet some of our clients in-person, and actually get to talk to them. Most of the meetings I sit in on have to do with the Manchester School District, since they are my primary client.
I have also been working very closely with my coworker to create an event plan for a client at the end of August. We have been tasked with choosing a band and a venue, and pitching it to the band we hope to have perform. We recently finished our final pitch, and I will attach that here.
